Donovan, originally from Western New York, has always had an entrepreneurial spirit: from selling pencils in elementary school to selling over $100,000 worth of inflatable pools while in high school. This experience with volatile income and business taxes sparked a passion for finance and investing, along with a desire in helping others. Between the cold New York winters and finance opportunities in Charlotte, he decided to moved south to study finance at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Donovan graduated summa cum laude as a finance major with an economics minor. While in college, he purchased his first rental property, giving him additional insight into the real estate industry. In 2022, Donovan passed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Exam and joined the Deneault & Greyard team. Donovan became a Partner in Deneault & Greyard in 2025. Donovan enjoys working with solo-business owners, real estate professionals/investors, and parents planning for their children's college/post-secondary education.
Our Story:
In 2018, Harry Greyard and Nicholas Deneault established Deneault & Greyard LLC. With the ever-changing economy, they believed they could better serve their clients by working as a team. In July 2021, LPL Financial acquired Waddell & Reed. Harry and Nick continue to independently serve clients through LPL Financial. In 2022, Harry and Nick hired Donovan to round out their team as they continue serving all generations of clients.
The Deneault & Greyard team brings 50 years of combined experience to their financial planning clients. Harry, Nick, and Donovan have all earned their CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ mark. The team applies a fiduciary standard to thier clients and focus on fee-based, advice-driven planning.
Both Nick and Donovan hold Series 7 and 66 securities licenses with LPL Financial. Harry holds Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 licenses with LPL Financial. Harry, Nick, and Donovan all hold insurance licenses for annuities, life, long-term care, and disability insurance.
