Donovan, originally from Western New York, has always had an entrepreneurial spirit: from selling pencils in elementary school to selling over $100,000 worth of inflatable pools while in high school. This experience with volatile income and business taxes sparked a passion for finance and investing, along with a desire in helping others. Between the cold New York winters and finance opportunities in Charlotte, he decided to moved south to study finance at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Donovan graduated summa cum laude as a finance major with an economics minor. While in college, he purchased his first rental property, giving him additional insight into the real estate industry. In 2022, Donovan passed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Exam and joined the Deneault & Greyard team. Donovan became a Partner in Deneault & Greyard in 2025. Donovan enjoys working with solo-business owners, real estate professionals/investors, and parents planning for their children's college/post-secondary education.
